Dr. Chris Skelton is a Chiropractic Sports Physician, Level 1 CrossFit Trainer, certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, certified Police Officer Standards and Training Council for Health and Wellness, certified Functional Movement Specialist and avid CrossFit athlete who works with CrossFitters, exercise enthusiasts, and those who are new to the world of fitness, through a broad range of issues. He has an extensive background in fitness, health and wellness and has a passion for teaching, coaching and inspiring. Dr. Skelton’s approach is one of prevention and improved performance and function. He believes that exercise should be utilized to improve your ability to function in all activities.
Dr. Chris Skelton is a former division 1 athlete from Sacred Heart University. From there he went on to study biomechanics and kinesiology. This led him to the University of Bridgeport where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Doctor of Chiropractic. In 2013, Chris married his career as a chiropractor and love for CrossFit into one business. SOSF CrossFit & Chiropractic was born. Chris designs and oversees the program at SOSF.
Rich Quintans has a considerable amount of training experience. His ambition to improve his own well-being lead to a new found passion in inspiring others to create healthy lifestyle changes.
With years of weight training, being physically active and following healthy eating habits, he has built up a strong fitness and coaching foundation to encourage athletes of all levels and backgrounds to better themselves physically and mentally. To increase one’s fitness level, combining strength standards with natural movements has proven to Rich to be very effective. With this understanding, he places a strong focus on dialing in proper technique to prevent injury and make sure each workout is as efficient as it can be.
Diana has had a lifelong passion for fitness and helping others to achieve a heathly lifestyle. She has been a personal trainer for over fifteen years and a massage therapist for ten years. She combines her knowledge of human movement and exercise with different modalities of massage to offer her clients a unique and effective experience.
Starting at SOSF in 2017, she was offered an awesome opportunity to work under and learn from the best Chiropractor and personal trainers in the business. Being in that atmosphere has taught her a great deal. Using functional programming and corrective exercise in a collaborative environment has been extremely effective for her and her clients. Dee offers a unique and individualized experience for each client looking for a positive lifestyle change.
JT’s lifetime of sports and physical activity between martial arts, soccer, track, football and most notably rugby lead to his desire to help others with their physical fitness. While pursuing his personal training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine JT originally started working at SOSF when it opened in 2013, until October 2014 when he left to pursue an education and license for Massage Therapy.
While finishing up school and starting to build his own private massage practice, JT continued his work as a Personal Trainer at both LA Fitness and The Edge Fitness Clubs exposing him to a variety of modalities and methods of training. JT continued his massage therapy education to include certifications in both Rock taping and Rock Blades to help both athletes and members recover from workouts and increase mobility
Eric holds USAW and CSCS certifications. He received his Masters of Science in Exercise Science and Sports Nutrition from Sacred Heart University in 2021 and is a professor in the undergraduat S&C program.
In addition to his education, Eric is a coach for the SHU club Olympic weightlifting team. He also conducts athletic performance research.
